A little about the farm and farm tourism.
Skipenes farm lies close to the centre of Nordfjordeid, a short 800 meters to the town centre. Here there have been settlements for several hundreds of years. Trout and salmon can be caught in the river. At the farm you can rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.Milk production was the primary income till 2002. Then it was replaced by tourism, meat production and work outside the farm.
Because of all the living space indoors and outdoors, we decided to use the access capacity for tourism in 1987. And since then we have welcomed visitors from all corners of the world. And we look forward to greet guests each season.
Arild and Sigdis, with two adult girls, Lisbeth and Gunn Helen, welcome you all. Jenny (grandmother) also say hello.
